Its naturally narrow, columnar growth habit makes it an excellent choice for creating neat, formal screens and hedging, particularly in gardens where space is limited. Pruning Genolia Laurel is best done in late spring or summer to maintain its shape and encourage dense growth. These Genolia Laurel trees are a superb pleached evergreen option for screening unwanted views, providing excellent privacy throughout the year.
Growing conditions
- Hardiness -20 degrees Celsius
- Exposed or sheltered
- Acid, alkaline or neutral soil
- Full sun or partial shade
- Can grow in chalk, sand and clay conditions, provided drainage is good
- South, west, north and east facing
- For queries regarding different frame sizes and stem girths, please contact us at Info@hctrees.uk
