• Osmanthus aquifolium (see below), otherwise known as Devilwood. This small compact multi stem specimen has a very full canopy so is ideal to keep as topiary.
  
• English Cherry Laurel which is ideal for creating attractive hedging. A versatile plant that grows extremely quickly, it’s recommended to have three plants per metre for the best results. 
• Camellia japonica 'snowball'. A low maintenance evergreen, all this plant needs an acidic soil (most soils tend to be only slightly acidic or neutral). It has tough, leathery leaves that often feature prominent serrations. 
• Ilex Nellie R Stevens - Cones. This plant's small leaves make it easy to shape and clip precisely to achieve the desired design. It can not only add structure to your garden, it produces colourful berries. It can be used immediately as hedging or screen unwanted views when planted in a raised bed.
• Camellia japonica 'Black lace' 1/2 standard trees which  should ideally be planted in  a sheltered location to avoid damage to its leaves and form caused by extremely cold winter winds.
