Terms of Service
Terms and Conditions
Our nursery quality plants are healthy, robust, and thriving. However, we prune them in spring to encourage optimal shaping for the future, resulting in variations in plant appearance throughout the year. The photos on our website typically depict the plants during their peak, such as our Camellia japonica plants in full bloom during April. Please note that the same plant will be smaller in spring and less visually appealing in winter, without any flowers. Therefore, your purchase may not always resemble the specimen shown on the website.
Some of our plants are deciduous, which means they shed their leaves during late autumn, winter, and the early months of spring. Please be aware that these plants are dormant during this period and not dead. We have previously received complaints about plants appearing deceased during this time, but they are simply undergoing their natural cycle. Additionally, we have semi-evergreen plants that retain their leaves throughout most winters but may lose them in exceptionally cold weather, only to regrow them in spring.
Our team takes utmost care while loading and packaging your plants to ensure they remain undamaged. However, minor stem damage may occasionally occur during transit, which is unavoidable. If such damage significantly affects the plant's shape or causes harm to a major stem, we will provide a replacement.
To maintain the health and aesthetics of our plants, we regularly apply fungicides and insecticides to prevent leaf damage. Despite our diligent efforts, it is still possible to experience minor insect damage or preventable fungal issues like black spot fungus, as they are already present in most gardens. This ongoing battle against these challenges in the UK necessitates continued spraying to ensure your plants can thrive in your garden.
