Collection: Feathered Trees

Feathered Trees (Compared to Full Standards)

A feathered tree is a more natural, form of tree where the branches start much lower down the trunk and continue almost from the base upwards. Unlike a full standard tree, which has a clear stem of around 2 metres before the canopy begins, a feathered tree carries foliage and side branches along most of its height. In summary, it has a dominant main trunk but little branches that come out vertically all the way up, rather than your stereotypical tree with a clear trunk.
