Ligustrum Rhapsody Pink - Hedging/shrubs

This robust privet, with its oval-shaped leaves, is an excellent choice for creating a neat and resilient hedge in urban or suburban environments. Its small, bright green leaves form a dense cover, while delightful clusters of white flowers adorn the plant in July and August. These blooms are followed by glossy, black spherical fruits. This privet thrives in both sunny and shaded areas, showcasing lustrous dark green foliage that can serve as a year-round backdrop, although it may shed its leaves in colder regions or harsh winters. However, if pruned regularly as a hedge, it is unlikely to produce flowers.

To care for this plant, minimal pruning is required for free-standing specimens. Simply remove any misplaced or diseased branches in late winter or early spring. For hedging plants, trim them twice a year, in May and August.
