The Elaeagnus × ebbingei, also known as Ebbing’s Silverberry, is a hardy evergreen tree or shrub valued for its dense foliage and fragrant flowers. Its leathery dark green leaves have a silvery underside, giving it a distinctive two-tone effect. In autumn, it produces small, highly scented creamy-white flowers, followed by red-orange fruits in spring that are attractive to birds. A versatile choice for screening, hedging, or as a standard tree.
