Cherry Laurel ‘Novita’ is a hardy, fast-growing evergreen shrub, ideal for hedging, screening, and specimen planting. With its large, glossy green leaves, it provides excellent year-round privacy and an attractive, dense appearance.

Forms a thick, bushy hedgethat thrives in full sun, partial shade, and various soil types.

Exceptionally cold-hardy, making it more resilient than standard Cherry Laurel varieties.

Offers dense foliagefor effective noise reduction and wind protection.

 

Growth Rate and Maintenance

Fast-growing, adding approximately 40–60 cm (1.3–2 feet) per yearin optimal conditions.

For a neat hedge, prune once or twice a year, preferably in spring and late summer.

If grown as a specimen shrub, occasional shaping enhances its natural, full form.
