TOTEM Cupressus sempervirens (Italian Cypress)

Italian Cypress ‘Totem’, commonly known as a striking evergreen architectural tree, is effortless to cultivate and maintain due to its narrow, tall, and slender columnar form, requiring minimal pruning to retain its iconic shape. While it grows slowly, it can reach heights of 8–12 m in garden settings and is widely grown throughout the Mediterranean region and beyond for its vertical presence and formal elegance. 

Leaves: Evergreen, coniferous, densely packed dark green foliage that remains year-round. 

Flowers: Not of interest (small and inconspicuous). 

Soil Ph: Lightly acidic to alkaline, as long as well-drained soil. 

Hardiness: Hardy once established; tolerates sub-zero temperatures if soil is free-draining and sheltered from harsh winds.
