Viburnum Tinus - Hedging

Viburnum tinus, commonly known as Laurustinus, is a reliable evergreen shrub or small tree valued for its year-round structure, winter flowering, and dense foliage. Well suited to gardens of all sizes, it provides consistent screening and a strong architectural presence, particularly when grown as a clear stem (standard).

This versatile plant forms a compact, bushy canopy of glossy dark green leaves, offering excellent privacy throughout the year. From late autumn through to early spring, clusters of pink buds open into delicate white flowers, bringing colour and interest during the colder months when little else is in bloom. These are followed by attractive blue-black berries, adding further seasonal appeal. 

Viburnum tinus is an excellent choice for both formal and informal planting schemes, working equally well as a feature tree, screening solution, or evergreen backdrop.
